We are happy to invite you to the 4th Middle European Student Indology Conference (MESIC) which is to be held from May 17th till May 19th 2012 at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, Croatia. This year, as in the previous, the conference will be organized by students of Indology from the University of Zagreb with the aid of their colleagues from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland and University of Wrocław in Wrocław, Poland  The official language of MESIC is English. The conference is primarily intended for students of Indology of all degrees but students of other fields of study are also invited to participate with their insight into indological topics.

The deadline for the submission of abstracts has been extended untill the 25th of March. Also, the organizers of the 3rd MESIC welcome submissions not only from BA and MA students but from doctoral students as well.

The third Middle European Student Indology Conference (MESIC 3) will be held from 19 to 21 May 2011 in Wrocław, Poland. Everyone who is interested in presenting a paper is required to send a written abstract summarizing the chosen topic, up to 300 words. The deadline for sending the abstracts is 5 March 2011. Those who submit abstracts will be notified regarding the acceptance/rejection by 25 March 2011 by e-mail.
Everyone who will attend MESIC 3 will be required to pay the conference fee of 100zł.

The conference has been postponed due to the Icelandic volcano eruption and will be held from the 17th of May 2010. The new program will be released soon.
